From Builder to the ethical shop Entrepreneur: The Story of "The Magic Aisle"

Hello and welcome to the first blog post for The Magic Aisle! My name is Pete, and I'm the founder of the ethical shop TMA.

For the past 27 years, I worked as a builder. While it was a career that I enjoyed, the stress eventually took a toll on my mental and physical health, and I knew that I needed to find something that was less demanding.

After exploring various career paths, I decided to venture into the world of e-commerce. My 9-year-old daughter came up with the name "The Magic Aisle," and from there, I set out to create a company that would prioritize ethical and sustainable products from across the UK and EU.

Now, after 14 months of hard work, I'm proud to say that The Magic Aisle is fully functional, and we offer a diverse range of products that align with our ethical values. Although the work can still be stressful at times, it's a battle that I'm in control of, and I feel a sense of fulfilment from running a business that prioritizes sustainability and ethical practices where possible.
